Research and Planning: Brusheezy Designs

I have decided to look for some Brusheezy designs for some brush effects on my poster. This is wear the effect will have come from on my final design. It is just a sort of vision I could go for so I have looked into it for influence, however I have not yet decided whether to use them or not but I thought it was worthy of a mention. I was going to use it as a sort of blood dripping down the page on my Film Poster, but it may not be needed and look too crowded. I would also have to find the correct brusheezy design to give the blood effect.

This is my Film Magazine so far. The layout is all okay however I feel to make it more Horror-esque I could play around with the gradients and lighting effects because I feel it looks too bright. The right hand side also looks a little bare.

Over the last few days we got busy doing a lot of filming for our Trailer, although we are not fully done. I have started editing and am currently finishing off the first final edit before going onto doing the rest. We plan on filming the rest of our footage, finishing off the editing then doing the sound.

Although the bottom one was favourited by my target audience and also myself, in context it didn't look good when it was on my magazine due to the brick background of the picture. Instead of using this, I have just simply used the one with now blend to it as I felt it looked slick and professional.

Research and Planning: Meeting Post

Our group have had a meeting today and decided that our Trailer seems more of a Murder Mystery than a Horror so we have come up with a few ideas to change this matter.

These are our ideas:
To change this we have come up with an additional scene for the trailer which is
- Girl One is in her bedroom on the phone to another character and the camera is watching her through a gap in the wardrobe
- Girl hears a smash and decides to go and look what is happening
- Long shot of girl walking out of room cautiously
- The girl turns slightly to reveal someone behind her
